How Bongchoice collects, uses and looks after your personal details.

The short version
We only collect what we need to take, deliver and help with your order.
Card and UPI details go to Razorpay. We never see your full card number.
We do not sell your details or share them with advertisers.
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted.
What we collect
When you order: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
When you create an account: your email address, the name you give us and your password. Passwords are stored in scrambled form, so nobody can read them, including us.
When you use the contact form: your name, email address and message, plus your phone number and order number if you add them.
When you sign up for re-stock alerts: your mobile number.
When you save items to your wishlist: the products you saved.
When you pay online: your card, UPI or netbanking details go straight to our payment provider, Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
To process, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
To reply when you send us a message.
To tell you when products are back in stock, if you signed up for alerts.
To run your account and keep your wishlist.
To keep our business accounts and meet our tax obligations.
Who we share it with
Delivery: whoever delivers your order receives your name, delivery address and phone number.
Payments: Razorpay processes online payments.
Running the website: the site is hosted by Hostinger, and emails from the site are sent through Google.
Fonts: the lettering on this site is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page opens.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with advertisers.
Cookies
Your cart: remembers what you have added, so it is still there when you come back.
Signing in: keeps you logged in to your account.
Wishlist: remembers the items you have saved.
How you found us: notes how you reached the site, for example from a search engine or a link, and attaches that to your order.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear cookies from your browser settings at any time; your cart will empty and you will be signed out.
How long we keep it
Order records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Account details: until you ask us to delete your account.
Contact form messages: these are emailed to us rather than stored on the website, and kept only as long as we need them to help you.
Re-stock alert numbers: until you ask us to remove yours.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Some order records may need to be kept for tax purposes.
To make a request, email us or use the contact form, and we will reply as soon as we can.
